"The essence of my art is a continuing journey of exploring, and responding to, the Australian landscape, through colour.
Although specific places are sometimes alluded to, my Australian landscape is most often a generalised one.
It is colour that I am particularly interested in, and through putting different shades next to each other, and using light and dark and texture, I attempt to convey and interpret some of the atmosphere and mood of this vast country."
